The Bruce Grey Poverty Task Force facilitates community partnerships to advocate for poverty reduction and elimination.
The Poverty Task Force builds partnerships with key community stakeholders and networks: working together to eliminate poverty, enhancing our common understanding of poverty issues through solution-based research, knowledge development and information sharing.
The Poverty Task Force is made up of 5 Action Groups: Income & Employment Security, Food Security, Housing, Health Equity and Bridges (out of Poverty). Our Community Voices Group is made up of people with grounded expertise or lived experience. A Poverty Task Force Steering Committee oversees the direction and governance of the Task Force.
