Here are some of the questions we are asked most often:
What is the Children’s Alliance?
Grey Bruce Children’s Alliance is a membership-based organization of service providers. Formed in 2005, we are dedicated to identifying community needs and supporting collective action that improves the well-being of children and youth in Grey Bruce. We seek to offer a more seamless, integrated system of supports to young people and their families across our respective agencies.

How do I access Alliance and Members reports?
The Grey Bruce Children’s Alliance has created a page to bring together resources and services for children and youth in Grey Bruce in one central location.

What type of advocacy work does the Alliance do?
How we work together as the Children’s Alliance is just as important as what we do. The Children’s Alliance carries out collective impact initiatives focused on systematic change in youth and children’s services.
The Children’s Alliance focus on child poverty resulted in an action research project that identified gaps in programming and highlighted the impact of poverty on children and families. See Report. This action research has led the Alliance to take a leading role in training educators and facilitators on the Bridges Out of Poverty approach and supporting the creation of the Bruce Grey Poverty Task Force.

Should I contact the Alliance concerning my child, youth or family issue?
The Alliance does not advocate on behalf of individual families and/or on behalf of individual agencies. If you have issues with an individual member of the Alliance please contact them directly.
Please contact the Alliance Coordinator if you require assistance in identifying appropriate channels for action.
